Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the Artkins Affiliate Program (“Program”). By registering as an affiliate, you agree to comply with the following terms.
1. Enrollment
Affiliates must submit an application through our website. We reserve the right to approve or reject any application at our sole discretion. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
2. Affiliate Obligations
You agree to:
- Promote our products in a lawful and ethical manner
- Provide accurate, non-misleading information
- Clearly disclose affiliate relationships where required by law (e.g. FTC, ASA guidelines)
- Represent the Artkins brand respectfully
3. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Use spam or unsolicited messaging to promote links
- Run paid ads using our brand name or trademarks without prior written permission
- Impersonate the brand or present yourself as the official Artkins store
- Use misleading promotions, false claims, or fake urgency
- Post affiliate links on coupon or deal aggregation sites without approval
- Earn commissions on your own purchases (self-referrals are prohibited)
Violation of any of the above may result in immediate termination of your account and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
4. Referral Tracking
Affiliates receive a unique referral link and/or coupon code. Commissions are tracked via cookies and/or coupon code usage. Cookie tracking duration is 30 days from the visitor’s first click. We are not responsible for tracking failures caused by browser settings, ad blockers, cookie restrictions, or improper link usage.
5. Commissions
Affiliates earn commissions on successful, completed purchases referred through their link or coupon code. The commission rate applicable to your account is disclosed upon approval and visible in your affiliate dashboard. Commissions are calculated on the order subtotal and do not apply to taxes, shipping charges, or discounted amounts unless otherwise stated.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
If an order is refunded, canceled, or disputed, the related commission will be voided. If the commission has already been paid out, it may be deducted from future payouts.
7. Payments
- Minimum payout threshold: CA$50.00
- Payment schedule: Monthly, processed by the 15th of the following month
- Payment method: PayPal or Interac e-Transfer (Canadian affiliates)
Affiliates are responsible for providing accurate and current payment information. Artkins is not liable for payments sent to incorrect details provided by the affiliate.
8. Print-on-Demand Products
Artkins products are made to order. Minor variations in color rendering, print placement, or sizing may occur between production runs. Affiliates must not guarantee exact physical outcomes beyond the official product descriptions published on shop.artkins.ca.
9. Intellectual Property
Affiliates may use approved Artkins brand materials (logos, product images, copy) for promotional purposes. You may not modify logos, misrepresent branding, or create content that damages the reputation of Artkins. We reserve the right to request removal of any affiliate-produced content at any time.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your affiliate account at any time for violations of these terms, suspicious activity, or any conduct we determine to be harmful to the brand or program. Unpaid commissions may be forfeited in such cases.
11. Limitation of Liability
Artkins is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, or technical tracking failures beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability to any affiliate shall not exceed the commissions paid to that affiliate in the preceding 90 days.
12. Modifications
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued participation in the Program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active affiliates of material changes.
13. Relationship
Affiliates are independent contractors. This agreement does not create an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, or agency between the affiliate and Artkins.
14. Coupon Code Usage
Affiliates may be assigned unique discount coupon codes. Commission may be attributed based on coupon usage in addition to, or instead of, referral link tracking. Unauthorized distribution of coupon codes on public deal or coupon aggregation sites is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.
